The 11th edition of The National Invitational will be held from Monday 2 March to Wednesday 4 March 2026. Since its inaugural staging in 2016, the Invitational has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the women’s golfing calendar, attracting teams from across Australia to experience The National’s world-class courses and hospitality.

Clubs return year after year for three days of competition, camaraderie, and connection. The event provides a unique opportunity to play the Gunnamatta, Old, and Moonah Courses while celebrating women’s golf and the role it plays in supporting health and wellbeing.

Invitations will be emailed to all clubs on our mailing list on Wednesday 1 October 2025, allowing ample time for team selection before entries open. Each club may enter one team of four players, with the same players required to compete on all three days. Priority will be given to interstate and regional Victorian clubs. If entries exceed available places, the remaining positions will be decided by random ballot.

Entries open at 7 pm on Saturday 1 November 2025 and close on Saturday 22 November 2025.

Eligibility is open to female amateurs with a Golf Australia handicap of 25.0 or less at the time of entry. This cap will apply for the duration of the event, even if a player’s handicap rises above GA 25.0 after entering.

The entry fee is $400 per player ($1,600 per team) and includes motorised carts on all three days. Entries must be submitted online via Golf Genius. Payment will be processed once teams are confirmed in the field.

Further details, including the full programme and conditions of entry, are available through the Invitation email or via the event website..
